Medication for Nepal, Current senario

Medicines ready to dispatch
Recently, On behaves of IIM-Ahamdabad students, Mr.Sanjay Poudel donated the medicines to Dolkha, District Health Office( DHO).
Whole channel was set up by groups of volunteers from various sectors.

200kg plus of essential medications arrived Dolakha a while ago. Few days ago, the district health officials expressed their serious concern over the dwindling essential medications in the district with the replenishment seen nowhere close.

And this comes from the collaboration of proactive citizens who wait for nothing to do their bit. Mr. Sanjay Poudel, on behalf of his IIM-A classmates, donated the medications. Mr. कबिन मलेकू and Ms. Pramila Sharma completed the inventory of those drugs. Dr. Abhiyan Gautam helped us to transport the medications from Kathmandu to Dolakha. Ms. Neeru Karki came with the drugs to hand them over to the DHO. Ms. Sumana Shresthacoordinated the initiative. And i tried to support these amazing people by coordinating things on-ground in Dolakha.
In cordination with medication for nepal volunteers, and Information collected from various districts of far west, we are able to collect the list of medicines which are in shortage in far west. Following are the list of medicines which are shortage in far western Development region of Nepal.

Ceftriaxone Injection,  Amoxicilline ,  Amoxicilline syrup, Doxycycline Capsule,  Azithromycin (250mgand 500mg), Inj . Adrenaline, Inj. Atropine sulphate ,Tab Aminophylline(100mg), Tab Salbutamol, Inj .PCM, Inj Oxytocin, Inj.Hydrocortisone 100mg, Inj. Digene, Tab Chlorpheniramine maleate 4mg, Tab. Metronidazole 400mg, 200 mg, Tab Hyoscine butyle bromide 10 mg, Inj. Depoprovera, Tab Zinc, Tab. B Complex, cotrimoxazole 120,480, Bandage and gauze piece(4 inch and 6 inch), Distilled water,Ibuprofen and diclofenac, Cipro eye ear drop, 5 pc DA, Inj Dopamine, Inj Dobutamine, Inj Nor adrenaline, Inj Ergometrine, Inj Carboprost, syringe 3ml and 5ml and 10ml, IV set, Inj Phenargan, Inj Ketamine, Inj Lignocaine 2%, Inj Phenytoin, Inj Mephentermine, Inj Phenylephrine, Inj Labetalol, Inj Metoprolol, 25% Dextrose , 50% Dextrose, Inj Calcium Gluconate, Povidine iodine solution(60ml), Rectified spirit, Inj Mannittol, Inj Propofol, Inj Succinylcholine, Inj Sodium thiopental, Dextrose 5%, Dextrose 10%, Dextrose Normal Saline, prolene 3-0 cb (Suture), iron cap, cotton roll, crepe bandage, Ranitidine  inj, Ranitidine 150mg, albendazole tab, albendazole syp.
 The volunteers are on the track to serve the nation. And some of the members of pharmasastra team are involved in the efforts.
Pharmacist are highly required in such efforts at various location of Kathmandu.
