World Pharmacists Day Celebrated at Norvic International Hospital

On the occasion of World Pharmacists Day, a program was organised in Norvic International Hospital. 

In the presence of Dr. Pankaj Jalan, Medical Director,Norvic International Hospital, Norvic celebrated Fifth World Pharmacists Day for the first time in its own premise. The program was hosted by Aditi Shrestha. Doctors, Nurses and Pharmacist working at Norvic International Hospital attended the program. The program was conducted in its own seminar hall.

On this occasion RPh. Kabin Maleku gave a brief outline of the "Role of pharmacist". He explained the various fields where pharmacist work and how pharmacist are involved  in these sectors to enhance the quality of medicine. Dr. Ajay chandra,  Clinical Pharmacologist, Norvic International Hospital explained the importance of the pharmacovigilance and shared his experience. He also requested all the health Professional to work hand in hand to support this pharmacovigilance so that patient quality of life is enhanced. In the same program RPh. Bijay Koirala and Dr. Vijay kumar, Clinical Pharmacist, Alka hospital, organised the quiz competition. Various practical questions were asked based on the treatment and use of medicine to the health professionals who attended the program. 

More than 40 Health Professionals working in the hospital attended along with few members from Pharmacy Society Of Nepal (PSON). 

At the end of the Program, Medical Director appreciated the program organizing team and  assured to support such program in near future too.
