The question paper, presented by lok sewa for the pharmacy fifth position.In the first question itself, their is a big mistake by those who are involved in setting the question paper. The question was about aerosil.

What is aerosil, its just a brand name given for Colloidal silicon

dioxide.In the pharmaceutical industry, silicon dioxide (also known as colloidal silicon dioxide) has many uses in tablet-making: some include as an anti-caking agent, adsorbent, disintegrant, or glidant to allow powder to flow freely when tablets are processed. These compounds appear to be biologically inert. Silicon dioxide is generally recognized as safe by the many regulatory bodies of the world. The people who are involved in setting out the question should not ask by using any brand name.It is like asking NSAIDs example and putting NIKO or cetamol as option.

Is it right way to put question by such a recognised and distinguished body?

Aerosil is a brand name which i have already described, it is produced by one of the largest excipient company based in Germany, Evonik.

Whatsoever, there are many other brands but, the person who set the question may not be aware about the other.

So its a plead for the concerned authority to takecare such issues as well.

Students- Please study the gist and understand the basics.

Don't go with brands, apart from aerosil, cab-o-sil also avaliable so,

don't care such things as well.

Consider Colliodal silicon dioxide.
